Mariah Carey Live in São Paulo

After tickets for Mariah Carey and Shawn Mendes concerts at Rock in Rio 2024 sold out, Santander bank announced an only date for Carey in São Paulo.
Rumors of a solo show in São Paulo began after the announcement of Mariah Carey as the headliner on the sunset stage at Rock in Rio (@rockinrio), however it gained more strength on May 20th when journalist José Norberto Flesch (@jnflesch) announced the negotiation for the city through his account on X (Twitter).
Suddenly, on May 26th, Santander bank (@santander_br) which has been promoting several events in the country such as the 14 Bruno Mars shows, presented a video with several different people listening to an audio and trying to guess who was speaking. Right at the end, Mariah Carey's voice is heard saying: "São Paulo, estou chegando! Get ready!"
The following day (27) a sequence of images was published by the bank, a series of photos of a defrost and a butterfly presence. At the end the phrase "It's Time!" appears - which Mariah Carey uses annually when announcing the Christmas and New Year season and, normally, celebratory shows and performances for being the Queen of Christmas.
A video was later released showing many butterflies invading São Paulo with the words "It's Time!" again.
It was on the 28th that confirmation came with a video in which the butterflies begin to arrive at the show venue and Fantasy is heard in the background.
Soon after, the announcement of the show in São Paulo was made on September 20th, 2024 at Allianz Parque (@AllianzParque) with pre-sale with Santander cards.
Mariah Carey begins her visit to Brazil with her first show in 14 years, the last one was on August 21st, 2010 at Festa do Peão (Barretos Pawn Fest) in Barretos-SP. She will perform on Friday in SP and on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024, on the Sunset Stage at Rock in Rio 40 anniversary edition in Rio de Janeiro, which is already sold out - the show, as well as the entire festival, will be broadcast via Globoplay and the Multishow and Bis channels as usual and with re-presentation at alternative times on Globo.
The show will be produced by 30e (@30ebr) and ticket sales will be sold by Eventim (@EventimBrasil) via the official website.
